Housebuilder brings fairytales to life for Navenby schoolchildren

In celebration of Share a Story month (May), housebuilder Rippon Homes invited storyteller Keith Butters to Navenby Church of England Primary School, local to its Eleanor Gardens development.

The year two class was enthralled by an exploration of Lincolnshire history and folk stories, fitting in with this year’s theme of Myths, Magic, and Mayhem.

Alongside the event, Rippon has donated £150 of book vouchers to the school in order to boost their internal library.

As well as the OFSTED rated Outstanding primary school, the collection of three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows at Eleanor Gardens is close to the main playing fields and community hall in this charming village, making it perfectly positioned for young families.

The village also boasts a thriving community and range of local amenities, including an award-winning butcher and bakery, while the city of Lincoln is less than 10 miles away for more extensive shopping, restaurants, or entertainment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The development is also well situated for commuter links to Lincoln and the North, the A46 and A1 and to Newark and Grantham both of which link to London King’s Cross with high speed rail connections.
