Housebuilder Rippon Homes’ quality designs are implemented by skilled site teams across the Midlands, including at its development in Worksop.

The team at The Edge, is led by Site Manager Tom Moxton, 35, and Assistant Site Manager, David Milner, 48.

The pair are responsible for the day to day running of the site. They work closely alongside every member of the team, from sales executives to building contractors, to ensure every home is built to Rippon’s high standards. Tasks such as ordering materials, inspecting completed work and making sure health and safety is adhered to are integral parts of their roles.

Tom is based in Sheffield with wife Cheryl and their three boys aged six, seven, and 10, while David lives in Chesterfield with his wife Toni and three children; twins Connor and Lewis who are 22, and daughter Tegan, 17.  Both family men, they know the importance of building to high-specifications while catering to various lifestyles.

Tom joined Rippon at the start of the year and says, “I already knew of Rippon’s good reputation before a friend recommended the company to me, so I jumped at the chance to apply once I knew about the vacancy.

“The team is great, everyone works hard and well together. We’re all really proud of the homes we’re creating.”

David, who joined the team in 2018, agrees; “Everyone is friendly and always happy to help each other to do the best job we can.

“The development itself will be a great asset to the area, bringing in new work opportunities to local trades as well as housing for the community, especially new buyers wanting to be near the main routes.”

Ideally situated for commuters, the town allows easy access to the M1, while The Edge is just one mile from Worksop train station, which provides regular services to Lincoln, Leeds, Sheffield, and Nottingham.  The town centre offers plenty of amenities, but with Meadowhall Shopping Centre only 16 miles away residents have everything they need at close proximity.

On the edge of Sherwood Forest and with the Peak District within 30 miles, Worksop has plenty to offer country lovers too.
