Following a successful business year, selling three times more homes than in the previous year and with more developments in progress than ever before, Mansfield-based Rippon Homes has recruited a new Assistant Site Manager.

Sarah Jepson has joined as an Assistant Site Manager at the housebuilder’s Navenby’s development, Eleanor Gardens. Sarah started as a labourer and has worked her way up through various positions to become one of Rippon Homes’ first female Assistant Site Managers. She had previously made the switch from a managerial role to construction and has been enjoying life at Rippon Homes.

Sarah said: “I have really enjoyed my experience working for Rippon Homes so far. The team is really friendly, helpful and keen to help you progress.

“The houses are beautiful, and I really like to see the finished product, along with how happy the customers are when they move into their new home.”

Sarah, who lives in South Normanton with her partner, has ambitions to progress within the company and eventually become a Site Manager.

Sarah continued: “I certainly see a future at Rippon Homes, I’ve really enjoyed my job since I started earlier in the year.  I enjoy the job role, the people I work with and my day-to-day responsibilities.”

“I already knew about Rippon Homes through living near their developments, and I did research on the website to find more information about the company. I love my job as I’m able to learn new things about the industry every day.”

Ian Dyke, Managing Director of Rippon Homes added, “We’re delighted to welcome Sarah to our team at Rippon Homes. It’s great to see women breaking the stigma of joining the construction industry, and Sarah’s story proves anyone can have a long and successful career with Rippon Homes.

With new experienced hands on board I am very excited to see what the future holds at our latest developments.”
